What Are Our Favorite Literacy Educators Reading?

Next week, we'll be talking to several of our favorite literacy educators--Debbie Miller, Ralph Fletcher, Shelley Harwayne and more. We thought it would be fun to find out what some of them are reading this summer. Kind of like the US WEEKLY of Literacy Teachers--getting the scoop on our favorite mentors and what they are reading.

So, each day next week, stop by to see what people are reading. It is just fun to be nosy and see their summer reading list. But we think we'll also get great titles for our own rest-of-summer reading.

I just stumbled upon your blog and it's my favorite find of the summer. I, too, am an avid reader and teacher and this was like hitting the mother load for me! I'm always on the hunt for the latest and greatest and just the first five posts have given me so many things to go on. I just got moved back to 1st grade after spending some time in first and I am very excited to get back in the loop with books to hook and excite them.

You've basically got my dream gig going on :) Looking forward to many more great articles!
