I started a book club for my oldest son, when his First Grade teacher recommended he repeat the grade because he was struggling to read. We advanced him, but I made it a "mommy mission" to get him reading. So I started a book club for him. Four years later- I just finished my parent teacher conference for this same son- and his teacher was BEAMING to tell my that he is in the HIGHEST reading level for the school! (He's in 5th grade- but reading at 8.6 level!) I started this site: www.bookclub4boys.com to share all my book club outlines, ideas , games activities, etc... for FREE to help other parents start book clubs. I hope you will stop by and check out my site- I look forward to returning to yours often! What a great site!
Sincerely,
Laura
www.bookclub4boys.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20429083.post-23502274493751762022007-10-23T07:28:00.000-04:002007-10-23T07:28:00.000-04:00Franki,So glad you had the opportunity to see the ...Franki,

So glad you had the opportunity to see the snowflakes in person! I went to the Child at Heart Gallery twice--and hope to see the snowflakes again at the Danforth Museum of Art. Did you have the opportunity to see the snowflakes that were being exhibited at the Newburyport Library?

Paul and his wife are such nice people. I've bought gifts for relatives at the shop--and the Robert's Snow giclee print I'm giving away as a prize.

Let me know when you're coming out to Newburyport again. I live about a thirty minute drive from there. Isn't it a great little city?Elaine Magliarohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09829330276633865868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20429083.post-50232816559210508242007-10-22T22:02:00.000-04:002007-10-22T22:02:00.000-04:00oh, thank you, Franki! I'm trying to figure out if there's a way I can get to see them when they come to Framingham, which is a bit, but that that far, of a drive from here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
