Poetry Friday -- Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Too

HOPPITY
Christopher Robin goes
Hoppity, Hoppity,
Hoppity, Hoppity, Hop
Whenever I tell him
Politely to stop it, he
Says he can't possibly stop.
If he stopped hopping, he couldn't go anywhere,
Poor little Christopher
Couldn't go anywhere...
That's why he always goes
Hoppity, Hoppity,
Hoppity,
Hoppity,
Hop.

by A.A. Milne

You can't have NCTE at Disney World in Orlando without having at least one magical day before the meetings and sessions start!

Diane has the Poetry Friday Roundup at Random Noodling today.

  1. Thanks for sharing the magic with us! Looking forward to updates & posts. Will be watching Twitter, et al.

I love that CR poem BTW. I have a couple little boys in my family that have had the same trouble with stopping the hopping. Gotta love it!

  4. Oh that looks like fun. Milne always seems to be having fun with his poems, which is why it so easy to get the fun out of them, I guess.
