Review Policy

The two bloggers at A Year of Reading are both experienced in the field of education. We love to read and review books. We do not guarantee that we will review every book we receive, whether we requested it or it was sent to us without being requested. We review books we can recommend for use in classrooms or school libraries.

We accept (ARCs and published):
- Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, graphic novels, easy readers, and series books for K-6 readers

We do not accept guest posts unless we invite a guest to post.

We almost never review and therefore will not accept:
-YA
- self-published books
- vanity press books
- e-books
(We make exceptions to this rule when we know the author personally.)
