I shop the poetry shelf often when I visit Cover to Cover. I have a good collection of poetry books and am always on the lookout for a new one to add to my collection. This one is definitely a new favorite! The cover is adorable. Inviting. It is a larger size book. The print is large. The illustrations are by Polly Dunbar and they are absolutely perfect for the book. The book is filled with happy pictures. The poems are all great poems to share with readers of all ages. Some old favorites like "Bananas and Cream" are included. This is a great collection of poems by some of our favorite poets.
