PROCEED
We never
know what to expect.
We've never
seen it all.
In every interesting situation,
we never
really know
what to do.
We should always
proceed with caution.
We should always
proceed.
The roundup this week is at Biblio File.
Two PUBLIC SCHOOL teachers who read. A lot.
It certainly works as a poem! :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree- this is definitely a poem! Leaves me wondering what poems I might find in my life!
ReplyDeleteI love those last two stanzas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great poem to have beside you/with you/in front of you all day. I'm thinking this could be the genesis of a whole BOOK on teaching/learning.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever share this with your students?
These reminders are good arsenal; I can see why you keep them handy. They do make a cool poem :).
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the ending! We should always proceed....
ReplyDeleteIt does seem like a poem. I love the encouragement to proceed even if uncertain.
ReplyDeleteI love this. A poem today and always, I'd say. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe circumstances are funny, but it really does work! My sticky note poems would probably read more like, "butter/ eggs/ toothpaste" and "wash dishes/ blog/ vacuum." I like yours much better!
ReplyDeleteMy Post-Its aren't nearly as inspiring! Dang.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely--thanks for sharing.
