I loved my Halloween costume this year. I was Scaredy Squirrel, thanks to Beth at Cover to Cover. She made my costume and it was quite fun dressing as one of my favorite book characters!
I meant to post it last week but am finally getting to it!
Wow... Is Scaredy Squirrel considered Sciurus carolinensis, Tamiasciurus hudsonicus, or Spermophilus lateralis...
Our Halloween got snowed out... our team was going to be "The Amazing Race." I was "Cousin Marvin" buddied with my friend Janice who was "Cousin Carol"... matching t-shirts and BillyBob teeth...
Even though our "costume party" turned out to just be you, you really stole the limelight! Best. Costume. EVER!! Kudos to Beth! (new sideline career???)
Awesome costume! My daughter and I have been home sick with the flu this last week. We have watched quite a few book using TumbleBooks. We have were introduced to Scaredy Squirrel this week. We laughed hard with fevers!
I found your picture because my 6 year old asked to be Scaredy Squirrel for Halloween this year, and I Googled Scaredy Squirrel costumes. Thanks for inspiration!
Sarah, I'm so impressed that you're getting started now with your Halloween costume planning! If I'm going to try for a costume that rivals S. Squirrel this year, I better get started now, too
