This book will make you smile. When you rub the dot and it changes color on the next page...when you clap over the dots and they grow...when you tilt the book and they all slide to the other side.
There's an app for that -- your IMAGINATION!!
It sounds like this could lead to some wonderful illustrative conversations. Love imagination.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Makes me wish my children were little again or that I taught little learners! Thanks. May use with my 3rd graders anyway--just to see them smile like I did!

Last week when I was at Tattered Cover, an older gentleman came in with the NY Times Book section. He showed it to the clerk and wanted to purchase the first five books on the list. This was one of them. He looked it and got really mad- said he was not going to pay good money for a book of spots. I looked at it after he left and thought kids would love it!
ReplyDeleteThis book looks so great! I can't wait to see the kids faces when they see the changing dots. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis book looks so fun! I can already see my younger cousins having fun with this book- even the older ones. Its just one more example of how you're never too old to have fun with your imagination-- unless you train yourself out of it, as it seems the man Carol wrote about did. Never stop using your imagination!
