Cause and Effect -- a poem

CAUSE AND EFFECT

Someone stole
my teacher.
They took my
favorite one.

She helped me
patiently,
she was cheerful
and great fun.

She's replaced
by a big
meany who is
giving me more work.

Do you think
this could have happened
'cause the class just went
berserk?

  1. Love this, and the little note at the end is a nice touch. "Those days" are the roughest!

  2. Not you! Well, at least it doesn't end with the teacher being a "big fat nasty jerk!" 'Hope tomorrow is better - way to keep good humor. a.

  3. I have been enjoying your daily poems and admire your public challenges to grow.
This poem spoke loudly - how we all know those days.
Thank you - it will help us through.

  4. Sorry you're such a 'meany', but guess the students will live to see another day.
