Poetry Friday -- Summer Poem Swap: BIRDS!

Hemingway and I love the mobile Joy Acey sent all the way from Hawaii! Her poem about birds can be found on the...birds!

BIRDS

soar      dive
wing in flight
sing to us
at morning's
first light

What a fun surprise to find in the towering stack of mail that accumulated for two and a half weeks while my brother and I were making this happen:

Katie has the Poetry Friday roundup this week at The Logonauts.

A feather to help dreams grow wings... take flight? It sounds like some bird songs would be welcome after your busy weeks of house prep and memories.

Also - thanks for looking out for us, with that InLinkz problem. Whatever is different, it worked this week!

  10. What a special poem swap from Joy. It is not only creative but magical in that it provides wishes and the urge to soar with the birds. I am almost ready to let the spring gallery fly.

  11. That is so cute! And as a special treat, Hemingway gets to enjoy it, too! I'm thinking he did not get to enjoy it to its fullest before it was time to rescue it!
