Mary Lee, your project, your perspective, is much needed this month--and I adore your logo. Do you still listen to records at home? For a while I could, but no longer--and still I keep the records. This flipside poem works so well--tiny and taut. I'm encouraged by my own persistent ability to notice the shinier side: my kids are getting a chance to be friends again like they were for so fleeting a time when he was in 8th and she was in 12th (and then she left). My other favorite is the etheree. I'm counting on the pandemic to bode well for climate recovery (another flipside). Miss you!
Well, you know how dry Colorado is, so I, too, have those dry hands. It is those tiny gifts that are to be appreciated now, maybe from now on? Enjoy your Sunday, Mary Lee!
Ah yes, the painful cracked hands. There is no amount of lotion in the world equal to this much washing. Your second line had me smiling--and then, the twist, clean hands as a gift. Lovely.

ReplyDeleteThe repetition of clean works so well. And the ending gift! Just right.
