I've been sneezing my head off and rubbing my eyes all week, Mary Lee. You've captured pollen perfectly! -- Christie @ https://wonderingandwondering.wordpress.com/
Steam and pollen mix and can't decide if to rise or fall. Yellow-green or green-yellow, this powder-paste coats the dashboard. With a finger I record the date: Beltane 2010.
Not sure if my response came through so here it is again. Ah! Allergy season is upon us and in my case even the mask I wear is giving me symptoms. Your haiku states what is happening quite well.
Ha! I had pollen mixed with frost this morning...so weird and an unattractive mush for sure. I have so enjoyed your haiku diary.
ReplyDeleteClever haiku, nice colors, I hope the car doesn't have allergies, thanks Mary Lee!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your haiku diary!
ReplyDeleteYour haiku is a perfect way to document one detail of the season. I notice the pollen on my porch chair.
ReplyDeleteOurs hasn't arrived yet for the sneezing season but soon!
ReplyDeleteYes! This is what prompted a haiku earlier this week, that darn yellow dust. Your glaze of gold sounds so much prettier.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing cars don't sneeze! Pollen is not my friend.
ReplyDeleteYes! We are covered with that glaze of gold, too.
ReplyDeleteThere's a surprise! This one made me chuckle a little.

ReplyDeleteI know that golden hue well! At least on the maroon, it's a great color combo. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, that dreaded "glaze of gold." Our's isn't here yet, but will be soon. I love all of your haiku, Mary Lee!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful poem! A beautiful way of describing something that requires a lot of work to clean up ;-)
ReplyDeleteA true seasonal 'car-meleon', Mary Lee!
ReplyDeleteLove how you connect nature and human tech things, Mary Lee. And it IS all connected.
ReplyDeleteA magical cat? No it's the magic of nature!
ReplyDeleteI reply with my own:
