Hemingway helped me launch Playing With Poetry by reminding me to PLAY with the Haikubes. He LOVES the sound they make. When I dumped them on the carpet, he came running. At first he supervised while I made my choices.
But pretty soon, he wanted to click the cubes himself, then carry one away to hide under the couch.
Here's my haiku for April 1:
we, you, us...all wrong:
fortune will flock to places
parallel with peace

There is too much to love about this. The haiku of course - "fortune will flock to places/parallel with peace." And you have a long haired stunner of a cat named Hemingway! And he playes with Haikubes! (I love that sound too and may now go hide one under the couch.) What a fun month of a project to look forward to! xx
ReplyDeleteI would watch a tv show of Hemingway making haiku/playing with Haikubes, just sayin'
ReplyDeleteWho really wrote this haiku - you or Hemingway? I've heard of helper animals, but I never heard of one that writes poetry!
ReplyDeleteHAH! Always so much "help" our little friends provide.
ReplyDeleteThis might be on one of those twitter feeds for cats. People would be amazed! I like that the message is clear, all together now--peace!
ReplyDeleteHemingway and Haikubes - how stinking cute is all of this. I sure how they both make another appearance!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see where you go with this. I plan to drop in every day to comment, and maybe I will write with you some days...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a cute helper you have.
ReplyDeleteIt seems Hemingway Haikubes is trending in the comments section ;) "fortune will flock to places/parallel with peace" is a beautiful thought. I see an "Ode to Hemingway" in the future--Maybe with found poetry from the comments section? Thanks for sharing pictures of the process.
