Sometimes it's about the sights...
Sometimes it's about the feel of the sun on your winter-pale midwestern skin...
Sometimes it's about the heavenly scent of orange blossoms...
And sometimes it's about the surprises...
(...if only I could send you the smell of sunbaked rosemary accompanying you for an entire block of your walk back to the hotel...)
love, love, love your pix from Phoenix!!!
ReplyDeleteContinue to enjoy!
Ahh, I'm enjoying the warmth and view vicariously- enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLooks divine! Now, go climb Camelback Mountain for Jr.'s dad and me, okay? :) We were in Phoenix years ago, and enjoyed hiking up there thoroughly--as well as touring Taliesin and hearing about Frank Lloyd Wright.
ReplyDeleteSusan, I'll have to climb Camelback Mtn. another time. Today I'll go hear Greg Mortenson and Barbara Morgan (the IRA closing keynotes), then I'm off to the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that sounds even better! I bet that exhibit is cool.
ReplyDeleteI am completely jealous!!! I'll say what Karen said: ENJOY!!! (It is actual 50 and sunny here in Ohio today but I would rather be in Arizona) Love the rosemary... I can just smell it!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. I am dreaming of that blooming rosemary.
