Two bike rides in a row inspire poetry. It's starting to feel like a pattern, like a thing. We'll see what happens this coming weekend!

Matt has this week's Poetry Friday Roundup at Radio, Rhythm & Rhyme.

  2. I love this one! The pic, too. You could write a collection of the the things a child sees on a bike ride from x to y... what fun that could be! xo

  4. Mary Lee, on an ordinary bike ride the out-of-ordinary can happen and you found just the right words to make it a special happening.

  9. So fun! And when I saw your title and the ducks, it made me think of David Shannon's DUCK ON A BIKE! But come to find out...it was Mary Lee on a bike and the ducks were a bonus!

  12. I love gentle celebrations of everyday joys. Even when the world seems to be falling apart around us, there are still quiet moments of joy to be found.

  13. I love what you find when on your bike. The feet slap, slap, slap really make that poem. It's perfect.

  14. Keep up those bike rides and soon it will become a habit. I don't have you remind you to keep up the poetry. You're already a maven! slap, slap, slap
