Poetry Friday -- Found Poem

I keep this list of reminders on a sticky note at my desk.  Just for today, they seem like a poem.

PROCEED

We never
know what to expect.

We've never
seen it all.

In every interesting situation,
we never
really know
what to do.

We should always
proceed with caution.

We should always
proceed.

The roundup this week is at Biblio File.

  4. What a great poem to have beside you/with you/in front of you all day. I'm thinking this could be the genesis of a whole BOOK on teaching/learning.

Do you ever share this with your students?

It does seem like a poem. I love the encouragement to proceed even if uncertain.

The circumstances are funny, but it really does work! My sticky note poems would probably read more like, "butter/ eggs/ toothpaste" and "wash dishes/ blog/ vacuum." I like yours much better!
