Squirrels
nip the tips
off branches.

You can tell
because the cut
is slanted.

The size of oak's leaves
has doubled
in a week.

Some are cupped
(to receive sun?)
all are fuzzy.

Look at the table.
This is how shade happens in spring:

  2. It's truly amazing how quickly things are changing outdoors -- quite "suddenly!) -- Christie @ https://wonderingandwondering.wordpress.com/

  3. I love how you take such a deep dive in just looking! The leaves are so feathery and fan shaped, and the tiny shade so pretty. The image itself is poetry.
