And leave behind the stress of the day.
Imitate the instructor's moves; lose yourself with
Careful choreography of movement.
Here is the place, now is the time.
I am one.

Two PUBLIC SCHOOL teachers who read. A lot.
I've always wanted to try tai chi--more so now. This is gorgeous, Mary Lee, a truly beautiful poem. Reminds me of how I feel about yoga now.
ReplyDeleteThose last two lines are stunning! Go, you!
Love this. Thanks for the peaceful moment. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Mary Lee. Like Laura, this makes me want to try tai chi
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely image! My friend Patti loves her Tai Chi classes and I think you have captured exactly the feelings she has as she attends. Makes me want to get out there and try it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful words!
